The GRE Graduate Record Exam is changing substantiallystarting in August 2011, and Barron's is now ready with athoroughly revised test prep manual that reflects the new exam'scontent. Although the GRE's Analytical Writing section remainsessentially unchanged, new question types appear in both the GRE'sVerbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections, and the modeltests in Barron's brand-new 19th edition reflect thesechanges: Verbal Reasoning-- The verbal section now includes two newsentence completion types: sentence equivalence questions, forwhich test takers must identify two correct answers to receivecredit; and text completion questions, some involving passages ofseveral sentences and requiring test takers to fill in up to threeblanks. Reading comprehension questions may now have more than onecorrect answer. Some reading questions will involve selectingindividual sentences with passages. Quantitative Reasoning-- As in the past, this section containsstandard multiple-choice questions
