first, allow me to say that i am quite enjoying these puffinclassics editions of some of my favorite novels! that being said, the hardcover editions of the puffin classicsare even MORE wonderful. mine only recently arrived, and i havealready ordered more copies. i am sure most are familiar with the story of crusty little marylennox, living in india when the cholera suddenly seizes herparents and she is very abruptly orphaned. the tale of what ensuesonce she is sent to live with her uncle in england at his expansivemanor, and how the beauty of nature awakens the little girl shemeans to be, will forever be cherished. the only thing i could havedone without were the very sparse images printed in this edition. iwas not a huge fan of them asthetically, and feel the printingwould have been equally splendid with no images at all. thoughplease do not misunderstand, i would still highly recommend thisedition, as it is well bound, and the covers are beautiful! a bonushere with the puffin classics is
