新版杨国荣著作集共17卷，收入了杨国荣教授30余年来创作的学术著作，包括中国哲学史方面的《心学之思》、《善的历程》、《庄子的思想世界》、《孟子的哲学思想》、《王学通论》等，哲学理论方面，有《道论》、《伦理与存在》、《成己与成物》和《人类行动与实践智慧》等，收入该著作集的著作大部分曾先后在 或海外出版，它们从不同侧面反映了杨国荣教授在相关领域的研究与思考。 本书所作的工作，主要是对中国近代科学主义的历史起源及其多重要论向度作一粗线条的梳理，尽管力图由此揭示其中的内在脉络，有一种回归道德“形上学”的意向，所提出的问题值得中国学术界反思。包括明清之际西方科学的引入、经学的实证化及其内蕴、技与道之间、科学主义：多重向度、科学与人生观、史学的科学之维等九章。
